Pine Cove Camp is June 11-15, 2012
We have raised full scholarships ($225 each) for 160 campers. We have morning snacks covered (to purchase) but need a few volunteers to hand out the morning snack and we are looking for groups to cover afternoon snacks. Our target this year is to scholarship 150 children, for $33,750!!!! ALL MONEY HAS BEEN RAISED!
Volunteer slots will become available May 11th through the Serve Our Community button. Once we have selected the bus pick up sites we'll have volunteer slots available for bus greeters and riders.
Thank you to all who served Go and Be projects throughout the City of McKinney.
There were 29 projects for April 28, 2012 to serve in McKinney. Over 1,381 served that day by providing food, landscaping/beautification, cleaning/maintenance, general construction, housing renovations, food and shoe drives and Adopt A School Projects.
We deployed 2,612 volunteers over the full Go and Be season!
Thank you to ALL who served at Garage Giveaway for 3 days of activity and fun!
We saw 21 churches coming together to send more than 1,1900 volunteers over the three day event. The day of the event we served more than 1400 guests.
RUN FOR COVER was a HUGE success.

786 Runners, 37 Volunteers, raised over $22,000. Several pastors led the pack in promoting the running or walking in the event (biggest run to date!)
(All proceeds go to Samaritan Inn, the only Homeless Shelter in Collin County.)
